to Ride Toward a Cure for Cancer

MONROE,
Ga. - Gear
up for Walton Electric Membership Corporation's 4 th annual Power
of Hope Ride. Set for Sat., Aug. 26, the ride benefits the American
Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Overall,
the ride has raised almost $14,000 towards finding a cure for cancer
with the help of hundreds of motorcyclists across the Southeast.
Registration
kicks off at 9:30 a.m. at Walton EMC's headquarters off U.S. Highway
78, four miles east of Monroe, GA. The ride begins at 10:30 a.m.
and lasts about two hours, winding through the beautiful Georgia
Piedmont.
A
donation of $20 solo or $30 two up includes a ride T-shirt and barbecue
lunch. Motorcyclists can enjoy music and other activities, including
a bike show, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
