to Beating Lightning Damage
Step
1: Pole Mounted Lightning Arresters

will find another path that may include through your home, its electrical
system or the electronics
and appliances connected inside.
An
adequate ground system also helps take care of surges caused by
electric motors. It is essential that all grounds at your home or
business be connected at a single
point. Many times the phone or TV system is connected to a diff
erent ground rod than
the electric system. This can be worse than having no ground system
