for a week at camp.

The Georgia Women of Achievement is receiving $500 to sponsor female
students at Morgan County Middle School. The organization recognizes
historical women of Georgia and educates students about these women
and their importance. The funds will be used to send a group of
students to the annual induction ceremony at Wesleyan College in
Macon.
•
Walton County Fire Station 12 is getting $3,000 towards the purchase
of a thermal imaging camera, one of the latest technology developments
in fire rescue. Walton EMC challenges other businesses to support
the local fire departments in the purchase of the new equipment.
It’s
evident what less than one dollar per month from Round Up participants
can do
for the community. Funds are used to provide food, clothing, shelter
and prescription drugs for the less fortunate. As you’ve read,
Operation Round provides funds to help equip volunteer fire departments
and send disabled children to camp.
Check
“yes” on your bill next to Operation Round Up or sign-up
online. Your bill will automatically round up each month to
the nearest dollar. The extra change will be added with other members’
change each month.
Your
donations will average $6 a year. And contributions to Operation
Round Up are tax deductible. Think about how great you’ll
feel the next time you read the Realite to see how Operation Round
Up changed lives once again in your community. But only next time
they’ll do it with your help.
