Here's
a list of Operation Round Up's recent disbursements:
- A
Gwinnett County family is receiving one month's mortgage payment.
The father has been unable to work due to an injury. The couple
has two children.
- A
Walton County family is receiving funds to pay monthly expenses.
The husband has been out of work, and the wife has been unemployed
due to health reasons.
- A
Gwinnett County elderly woman is getting funds to pay for wood
for a ramp to be installed at her home. She is also receiving
funds to pay for some of her medication.
- A
Gwinnett County family is receiving one month's mortgage payment.
The couple has one child and the father recently lost his job.
- An
Oconee County single mother is getting three months' payment of
medical insurance. She has been unable to work due to medical
reasons.
- A
Walton County family is receiving one month's mortgage payment.
The couple has two children. The mother has been out of work,
and the father was recently out of work after having back surgery.
- The
Oconee Area Resource Council is receiving $1,000 to help sponsor
an inspirational speaker for the youth and parents of Oconee County
at the Council's yearly forum.
- Creative
Enterprises is getting $2,000 for its production shop equipment.
The organization assists people with disabilities to increase
levels of social, vocational and economic independence in their
communities.
