Change
in Fees, Service Rules
Walton
EMC Service Rules and Regulations were recently updated.
- Residential deposits, ranging from
none to $200, will be charged according to the member's credit
report.
- The deposit for meter tests has
changed to $50 to be applied against the cost of the test. The
deposit will still be refunded to the customer if the test finds
the meter to be more than two percent in error.
- The service fee for delinquent accounts
is now $30 if the consumer's service has been disconnected for
failure to pay.
- The service charge on returned checks
is now $30.
- The trip charge to collect delinquent
accounts is $30.
