Walton EMC Continues Sponsorship of High School Championships

Your cooperative has renewed its commitment to the student athletes of Georgia through the sponsorship of Georgia High School Association (GHSA) championship events.

Walton, along with 28 other Georgia EMCs, is sponsoring 88 championship events throughout the coming school year, ranging from football to riflery to debate. Included in the sponsorship are Coaches Corners at certain events and Prep Sports+.

Coaches Corners are held at events like softball, cross country, cheerleading and basketball. They give the coaches a place to relax and find out more about local EMCs in their area. Prep Sports+ is a weekly high school sports show that airs on Georgia Public Broadcasting.

The EMCs are also partnering with GPTV to televise a live broadcast of football and basketball championships.
