million coming back to WEMC customer-owners next month
You'll
probably be part of a $3 million refund in December from Walton
EMC.
Customers
who recieved electric service from us in any of the years 1981,
1982 and/or 2003 are included. The refund will appear as a
credit on your December bill.
Why
the refund? As a cooperative,
Walton EMC operates by a set of cooperative
principles, one of which is service at cost.
When
we collect more than we need to stably operate, we return the excess
to you.
