Current Cooking

Sugared Nuts

1 egg white

1 tablespoon water

1 pound pecan halves

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Beat egg white with 1 tablespoon water until stiff. Mix nuts into egg white.

Combine sugar, salt and cinnamon; mix with pecan-egg white mixture. Coat well and spread evenly on a baking sheet. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool.
