We've Got Your Number

But is it the right one?

Walton EMC needs your correct phone number.

 

In major outages, thousands of our customer-owners try to call us at the same time.   That's why we have a specialized computer telephone system that comes on line to take your outage report.

 

When you call during a major outage, the computer asks for your telephone number.   It then matches the number you punch on the phone keys to our database and finds your account.

 

After finding your account, an outage report is forwarded to our outage team.   Now we know your power is out and we'll make repairs as soon as possible.

 

If we have the correct number on file, that is.

 

But if the computer can't match the number you left, we won't know about your trouble.   That's why it's good to check the number we have on file listed toward the top of your electric bill.  If it's not the right one, call or e-mail and give us the right one.
