Oven Barbeque Ribs

(an alternative to the outdoor grill)

3-4 pounds beef or pork ribs

1 lemon, sliced

1 onion, sliced

1 teapoon salt

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 cup ketchup

1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce

2 cups water

Dash hot sauce

1 Tablespoon horseradish

Place ribs, meaty side up, in baking pan.  Heat oven to 450 degrees. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil and simmer while ribs are in 450 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake for approximately 1 hour, until ribs are tender.
