cup thinly sliced okra
1/2
cup chopped onions
1/2
cup chopped tomatoes
1/4
cup all-purpose flour
1/4
cup cornmeal
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon curry powder
1/4
teaspoon pepper
1
egg beaten
Hot
vegetable oil
Combine
first nine ingredients. Stir well. Drop by tablespoonfuls
into hot oil. Cook until golden brown, turning once.

Tip
Halogen
bulbs used in torchiere lamps generate excessive heat, creating
a fire hazard. Switch to compact fluorescent bulbs that run
