Walton EMC Employees Get TV Time

As part of its support for Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), Walton EMC employees and family members recently assisted with GPB’s annual membership drive.

Jonathan Dawkins, Amy Arnold, Nancy-Ann Merka, Andrea Bowers, Emily Robinson, Tammy Chandler, Kay Moyette, Lauren Chandler, Katie Woodall, Boots Hendricks and Greg Brooks answered phones and took pledges at GPB headquarters in Atlanta. EMC volunteers raised nearly $45,000 during their part of the drive.

The GPB drive is in conjunction with Walton EMCs’ sponsorship of Georgia High School Association championship events, many of which are televised on the GPB network throughout Georgia. The 31 participating EMCs also sponsored Prep Sports Plus, a weekly GPB program featuring high school sports.
