Official Annual Meeting Notice

Notice is given that the 2007 annual membership meeting of Walton Electric Membership Corporation will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007, at the Walton County Agricultural Education Center in Monroe, Georgia, beginning at 10:00 a.m. to take action on the following matters:

1. Report on the number of members present in order to determine the existence of a quorum.

2. Reading of the notice of the meeting and proof of the due giving thereof, or the waiver or waivers of notice of the meeting.

3. Reading of unapproved minutes of previous meeting of members and the taking of necessary action thereon.

4. Election of three directors for terms of three years to fill the expiring terms of District 7-Mountain Park, District 9-Five Forks-North Snellville and District 11-Southwest Walton.

(a) In accordance with Article IV, Section 4.06, of the Walton Electric Membership Corporation bylaws, the following members have been nominated by the nominating committee consisting of Phil Green, Jim Hutson, Anna Shackelford, Lester Waters and John Wheeler:
