Cream
Cheese Crescents
2 cans crescent rolls (regular or reduced fat)
16
ounces cream cheese (regular or reduced fat)
1
1/2 cups sugar
1
egg
1
teaspoon vanilla
1
teaspoon cinnamon
1/2
cup butter or margarine, melted
1
cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Preheat
oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 X 13-inch glass dish with Pam.
Unroll
one can of crescents and pinch seams together, then line bottom
of baking dish. Mix 1 cup of sugar, egg, cream cheese and vanilla
until fairly smooth, then layer on top of crescents.
Roll
out second can of crescents, pinch seams together and lay on
top of baking dish. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, melted butter, cinnamon
and nuts for topping mix. Spread on top of crescents.
Bake for 30 minutes or until brown and
bubbling. Cool, refrigerate overnight, then slice.
