Use Caution with Bill Pay Services

Make sure your payment arrives on time

Many customer-owners don’t realize that if they make a Walton EMC payment through an unauthorized third party bill pay service (like a check cashing service or bank), their payment may not make it to us on time. That’s even though they left their money with the bill pay service before the due date.

Some bill pay services aggregate several payments before they send the funds in one lump sum. Sometimes the delay is simply due to the time it takes the transaction to wind its way through the bill pay service’s accounting system.

This can result in an unwanted late notice or account disconnection.

Walton EMC has several convenient payment options to ensure that we get your payment on time, including automatic bank draft, credit card payment (via phone, walk-in or internet), e-check (by phone or internet) or regular mail.

You can also pay in person by cash, check, money order or credit card at any of our offices or the following authorized locations:

National Bank of Walton County–Highway 78, Loganville; East Washington Street, Monroe; East Spring Street, Monroe

Georgia Central Bank–South Broad Street, Monroe; 112 North Cherokee Road, Social Circle
