Triple Play Ice Cream Cake

1/2 cup fudge ice cream topping, warmed

1 package (4 serving size) chocolate flavor instant pudding

1 tub (8 ounce) container whipped topping, thawed, divided in half

1/4 cup milk (optional)

8 Oreo cookies, chopped

12 vanilla ice cream sandwiches

Mix  fudge ice cream topping and chocolate flavor instant pudding with 1 cup of whipped topping until well blended. If the mixture is too thick to spread, stir in 1/4 cup milk. Stir the Oreo cookies into the mixture.

Arrange 4 of the ice cream sandwiches side by side on a 24-inch by 12-inch piece of foil. Top with half of the topping/pudding mixture. Repeat the layers. The top layer should be the last 4 ice cream sandwiches. Frost the top and sides with the remaining whipped topping.

Bring up the sides of the foil and loosely seal the cake. Freeze at least 4 hours before serving. Let stand at room temperature to soften slightly before serving. Store any leftover dessert in the freezer.
