| About Your bill
Walton
EMC bills its members on a monthly basis. The co-op's service
area is divided into billing cycles and each member's meter
is read approximately every 30 days. Differences in cycle length
may be due to weather, work load or other factors.

| Access
to Meters Walton
EMC appreciates your efforts in keeping a clear path to the
electric meter. Please move obstructions and objects away
from your meter. Make sure we have access to locked gates
so you can avoid estimated bills. Don't plant shrubs in front
of meters. Keep dogs at bay. When you help, our meter readers
become more efficient and costs go down.

| Due
Dates Your
WEMC bill is due 21 days from the billing date. If
the due date falls on a day other than a regular work day,
the bill is due on the next regular working day.
Accounts not paid by the time of the next bill will have a
late fee added to the account balance equal to the
greater of five percent of the arrears amount or $15. If
the arrears amount remains unpaid after getting the next
month's bill, the account is subject to field collection
(with a $10 collection fee) or disconnection.
You will have at least 45 days from billing to disconnection.
Failure to receive an electric statement does not release
you from your obligation to pay.

to get rid of the seasonal peaks and valleys of your electric
billing? Levelized billing can help. On this program, you
pay a more level amount during the entire year. Because of
the rolling twelve month average, you don't have to "divvy
up" at the end of the year, either. Call for details.

| Operation
Round Up Through
Operation Round Up, your
monthly electric bill is "rounded" up to the next dollar.
The extra change goes to a fund administered by the Walton
EMC Trust, a non-profit (501(c)3) organization, to help worthy
causes in our community. Your donation is tax-deductible.
Any administrative costs are absorbed by Walton EMC, so 100
percent of your donation goes to make life better. Funds could
go for a variety of projects, including purchasing emergency
medical equipment, providing hot meals for the elderly, assistance
for those in dire circumstances (house burned, etc.) or other
needs in our community.

energy-related needs of low income, handicapped and elderly
Georgians who find themselves in crisis situations. Donations
are used in the county collected. Walton EMC members may participate
by choosing to add $1, $2 or $5 to their monthly bill or by
a one-time donation directly to the Salvation Army.
