Don’t be left in the dark

Spotted a darkened or faulty light meant to illuminate a yard, sidewalk or parking lot? A new online form makes it simple to report the problem to Walton EMC for a timely repair.

Customer-owners can alert the co-op via an online form at waltonemc.com. Find the digital form by selecting Report an Outage or the Outdoor Lighting option.

These features have been added to make it easier to report a lighting problem:

  • Interactive Map. Drag and drop a pin on the map to show the approximate location of a light having issues.
  • Photo Upload Capability. Use a smartphone to snap a photo of the light and share it with the report. Co-op personnel will use the visual information to better understand the problem before arriving on site.

As the days grow shorter, outdoor lighting becomes even more important. Keep your home and community in the best light by reporting an outdoor illumination problem as soon as you see it.
