Employee Caring

Our employees are involved in many community activities, including annual fundraising drives for the Georgia 2-Day Breast Cancer Walk, Boys and Girls Clubs and the Walton County Special Olympics.

In addition, Walton EMC personnel are active participants in local chambers of commerce, civic clubs, youth sports, churches and many other activities that better our communities.

Georgia 2-Day Breast Cancer Walk

Several Walton EMC employees contribute proceeds from fundraising events when they participate in the Georgia 2-Day Breast Cancer Walk. Funds from the event stay in state to help provide diagnoses, education and support to thousands of Georgians affected by the disease.

Boys & Girls Clubs

Walton EMC employees have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local Boys & Girls Clubs through the annual Spring Golf Classic.

Holiday Projects

Walton EMC employees adopt several local families each holiday season. Employees gather food, gifts and clothing and deliver these items to the families to make an otherwise bleak holiday season a little bit brighter.
