WPCA is short for Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment. WPCA is a way to allow for temporary fluctuations in what Walton EMC pays for wholesale electricity without making changes to the entire retail rate schedule. It protects the cooperative and its customer-owners from both under and over collecting on wholesale power costs.
Overhead Distribution Systems:
LED yard light on existing pole – $8.75/month
LED yard light on new wood pole – $12.50/month (or $8.75/month with one time $470 contribution for wood pole)
Underground Distribution Systems:
LED yard light on new wood pole – $15.50/month (or $11.75/month with one-time $470 contribution for wood pole)
Membership Fee – $5
The deposit amount will be determined by your credit rating provided by a credit reporting agency. The deposits will be charged according to the following scale:
