Levelized Billing

Levelized Billing allows residential customers to pay nearly the same amount on their Walton EMC bill each month, removing the month-to-month fluctuations caused by changing weather, changing energy use and other factors.

  • Available to residential customers with favorable credit only.
  • Monthly amount is based on your energy use for the last 12 months.
  • Your bill won’t be exactly the same each month, but it will vary by only a few dollars.
  • You still pay for all of the energy you use, but the payment totals are spread throughout the year.

More Quick Tips

Close blinds and drapes in the summer.

Use window coverings to block the sun’s direct rays on the east side of the building in the morning and the west side in the afternoon. Let the sun shine in during the winter for solar heating.

Help the system do its job.

In the summer, use ceiling fans. The moving air allows running the air conditioner at a higher setting. In the winter, put on long sleeves or use a blanket.

Maintain the heating and cooling system.

Keep the filter clean, trim brush from around the outdoor unit and move furniture and rugs from over vents inside the house.

Wise Energy Use

At Walton EMC, we want you to conserve energy and keep money in your pocket.
