Lineman of the Week

During football season, Walton EMC celebrates two outstanding high school linemen each week. Nominated by their coaches, these students shine not only on the field, but also in the classroom, and they demonstrate strong leadership on their team.

Week 1 recipients

Brody Hamman

George Walton Academy

“It is my pleasure to nominate #50 Brody Hamman as Week One, 2025 Walton EMC Lineman of the week. Brody Hamman is a Junior at George Walton Academy and plays both sides of the ball for us. Brody is well respected among his peers and provides great leadership as a member of our football team and school.  Brody often leads by example for his teammates but often communicates directions for his Offensive lineman.  He is constantly mentoring and encouraging his teammates to keep working hard and never give up.  As for winning this award, Brody will be the first to tell everyone that his teammates are the reason he was chosen for this award.  Congrats to Brody on a well deserved honor!!” – Coach Ridings

Caeden Crotts

Loganville High School

“Caeden Crotts is a sophomore who has played multiple positions in times of adversity off the field and has pushed through to help our team in more ways than one. He takes responsibility for his actions and does everything he can to lead the right way. Proud of him and seen him grow in the short season we have had so far.” – Coach Snowden
