Community

Walton EMC is something special – a unique force in the communities we’ve served since 1936. Our leaders are our members, neighbors and friends. And our service is much more than electricity.

EMC of the Year

For unprecedented generosity in 10 northeast Georgia counties, Walton EMC has been named EMC of the Year and presented with the Community Service and Volunteerism Award by our statewide trade association.

Employee Caring

Our employees are involved in many community activities, including annual fundraising drives for the Georgia 2-Day Breast Cancer Walk, Camp Twin Lakes and the Boys and Girls Clubs. In addition, Walton EMC personnel are active participants in local chambers of commerce, civic clubs, youth sports, churches and many other activities that better our communities.

Operation Round Up®

Operation Round Up is Walton EMC’s community service assistance program. The program is a simple and rewarding way for our customer-owners to raise money for local charities, needy individuals and service organizations.
