Adcock and West Complete Professional Loss Control Program
Brad Adcock (left), loss control director, and Ryan West right), safety and training instructor, completed a two-year Certified Loss Control Professional Program (CLCP). A focus on loss control helps Walton EMC reduce insurance claims through safety and risk management.
The CLCP conducts the program in collaboration with the National Utility Training Safety Education Association and the University of Wisconsin School of Business.
Adcock and West learned about updates from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Department of Transportation and the National Electric Safety Code. They were also tasked with creating a teachable safety program.
Managing loss control helps Walton EMC sustain a culture of safety and saves the co-op from expensive insurance claims.
