Whether it’s for a daughter who just moved into her first apartment or your parents who have lived in the same house for 50 years, a gift certificate for electricity is a novel-yet-practical present for any Walton EMC member. Gift certificates can be purchased at any Walton EMC office in any amount you choose. Be sure to bring along each recipient’s complete address.

Cooperative Solar Block

Give the gift of the sun! Walton EMC’s Cooperative Solar program, you can purchase blocks of solar electricity for any Walton EMC member. Each block is only $25 a month and offsets the same number of kilowatt-hours on the gift recipient’s power bill. And, if the block produces more energy than is consumed, the gift recipient receives a bill credit for the excess. There’s no long-term commitment, so you can give the gift of solar for as many or as few months as you wish.

In July, we told you Georgia homeowners are following a national trend toward installing video surveillance equipment for security and monitoring conveniences.
