Coronavirus Update

As the Coronavirus outbreak situation rapidly evolves, Walton EMC’s management continues to monitor it closely and make recommendations and policy changes/updates as necessary. It is our goal to provide for the safety and well-being of our employees and customer-owners while keeping essential services operating as normally as possible.

These new guidelines in addition to those previously enacted have gone into effect immediately:

  • Disconnections for non-payment on all accounts are suspended until further notice.
  • All customer lobbies are now closed, but the drive-through windows will remain open. We urge you to take advantage of the internet and telephone if you need to transact business with us.

Call us at 770-267-2505 or visit us online. You can also use the myWaltonEMC app, available at the Apple Store or Google Play to access your account online or perform a number of other functions relating to your electric service. As always, contact us 24/365 for outages.

Please remember that if you see our employees or crews working outside, we ask that you not get near them, but rather say “Hi” from a safe distance (at least 10 feet away).

Don’t fall prey to those who will try to take advantage of these unusual times. We will never call you demanding payment in order to avoid disconnecting your electric service. We do provide courtesy reminders and alerts to help you manage your electric bill. If you receive a call demanding payment by a credit card, cash cards (like “Green Dot” or “Bluebird” cards) or any other method, hang up and report the call to law enforcement.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to serve you and your family’s energy needs.
