10:30 p.m. Update 

Since storms hit our area late this afternoon, Walton EMC linemen have restored power to 7,500+ members. There are currently 1,883 members without power. Our lineman will work quickly and safely until every member has electricity. We appreciate your patience as linemen navigate challenging conditions around downed trees and debris.

8:30 p.m. Update

Turbulent weather has caused significant interruptions across our 10-county service territory. There are currently 8,177 members affected (7,000 in Gwinnett County). Our lineman will work to restore service as safely and quickly as possible.

Please remember to avoid approaching a downed power or working linemen.
